Color: Tsavorite is a Garnet gem that is green to emerald green. Green garnet gems that do not meet the high color standards of tsavorite are called green grossular garnet.

Gem Info: Tsavorite is a rare stone that was only discovered in 1967. It is often compared to emerald but has less inclusions and is less brittle than emerald.
